The Glass Horse Is Your Window to the Workings of the Horse's Limb

Isn't it time for you to brush up on your anatomy? Our Glass Horse: Elements of the Distal Limb 3-d leg model takes you inside a horse's leg...up and down it...around it...and underneath it, too. It can do all that because it truly is a three-dimensional leg model, created in the super high-tech software program called Maya, used so adeptly in Hollywood special effects.

But you don't need to know how the animation works...you just need to know how the leg itself works. The cd will teach you in a series of lectures created by the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine experts, or you can operate the leg in independent mode for self-study or to point out a specific structure to someone. You can manipulate the leg in three dimensions so you can see all structures, from all angles.

Double-click on the image to view it at a larger size in a new window.

I will be demonstrating the software in our booth at the farrier conference in Cincinnati next week, and at the American Farrier's Association convention in Lexington, KY in late February. You can order yours by emailing glasshorse@hoofcare.com.
